Rosta Capek – Luthier

Rosta is a luthier who has built first-class mandolins and banjos since 1985

We are privileged to be visited by Rosta Capek, a renowned luthier. He sets up shop at the festival, where you can try and buy outstanding banjos and mandolins, buy accessories like capos, picks, and straps, or have your instrument set up or repaired professionally.

Over the years, many in the Norwegian bluegrass family have gotten themselves a Capek instrument, and international artists like Ricky Skaggs, Peter Rowan, Radim Zenkl, and Ned Luberecki use his instruments professionally.
